Allen Pyke Associates were appointed by Notting Hill Housing Association to develop the landscape proposals for this exciting urban village scheme in Bermondsey Spa regeneration area. This high density quarter contains a number of interconnected shared surfaced streets and five internal courtyards, each designed to have a distinct character and viewed through a filigree screen from the streets. Junctions will become mini-campos with a formal planting palette, sentinel trees and seating. The stepped roofscape incorporates extensive areas of bio-diverse green roofs as well as private terraces and photo-voltaics. The scheme has recently received planning approval and APA are appointed to develop the scheme to stage D+ for tender under a design and build contract.
