Bank's Yard achieves Building For Life Standard

Allen Pyke were commissioned by Octavia Housing and Care to produce a landscape strategy for detailed planning submission. We commissioned an arboricultural survey that informed the architectural masterplan, produced the amenity space calculations and strategy in accord with the local authority Supplementary Planning Guidance and produced detailed planting proposals to maximise the Eco-Homes points. The site is set around a central court that has been designed as a shared surface to maximise the actual useable open space. Carefully selected trees within this courtyard will mature to complement the striking building designed by PCKO Architects. The scheme has recently achieved a Building for Life Gold Standard.
