Allen Pyke Associates were commissioned by VSM Estates Ltd to provide a landscape strategy for the redevelopment of this historic military site. The site has developed over the past 92 years as a military establishment within the grounds of the 18th century Grade II Hillingdon House. A comprehensive historic landscape survey was undertaken by APAL and an analysis of tree survey information was cross-referenced with historic maps to identify historic field boundaries and tree belts, this then influenced the development of the masterplan.
